Fernando Amador, Strengths Development Practice Leader

As a physician, I was trained to diagnose and heal dysfunctions. However, as I took on management responsibilities at a large hospital, I quickly understood that being an agent of human wellbeing goes far beyond fixing what's wrong with people. it is first and foremost about accompanying them through a journey of self-discovery of what's right with them: their strengths. So, my career as a Strengths Development Consultant and 25-year University Professor has been a continuation of my own journey of self-discovery; a journey driven by my passion about human development. My clients and students benefit from my physician mindset since I bring to the consulting session the scientific rigor of the medical profession.
